An FO to display

 Yep!! Jacob’s socks are finally done!! Considering they were due the 25th of Dec 2007 I’d say I did pretty good getting them done within 6 months of the due date They are in the laundery basket waiting to be washed and then will be gifted to him. Now to hope he didnt grow out of them in the mean time, LOL!

On to another Christmas 2007 overdue present (these werent even started till this month) I showed the starting pics of Fuzzy Feet from Knitty.com the other day in Caron Felt-It felting yarn Wildflower well, today I finished the first one . I like how the colors are playing with each other and arent pooling. I did however have to cut out a knot and even that didnt mess up the color arrangement. I have cast on the second one and since the only other UFO I have right now is the Sannybug Jaywalkers I hope to get the second one done even quicker than the first. Well…unless of course I get distracted again like with Jacob’s socks I did however catch myself goin through my bag of patterns and yarn today and seriously thought about casting on another pair of socks, that urge passed, for now anyways

 Here are the pics I mentioned in yesterdays post about the building/rebuilding of the Iris beds. The first one is the East side of the porch (front) the second one is the South side of the porch  prior to the Irises being temporarily moved. And the last one is of the East and South sides together  I havent done any work on the beds today due to the one flower still in bloom I dont want to disturb the roots while there is still active blooms on the plant, and the way the plants are packed in if I move to many more thats just what I’ll end up doing.

Well since wordpress was bein a pain earlier this post is late, and I need to go make supper before my poor husband starves to death so I will leave ya here and will try to post earlier tomorrow. Hey who knows maybe I’ll have another slipper finished, well, in my dreams maybe, but surely by this weekend
