WOOHOO!! They are done and have been shipped to Kim as of this morning! Now I can get back to all my scheduled knitting that I have been putting off to get them done. And I can get back to finishing my flowerbeds, heres what I did today.
This is the old bed, as you can see I have widened it out and started pulling the grass and weeds out of it. I have also done the same for the new bed on the front of the porch but no picture of that one. Speaking of Irises I have a new color to show ya, its a cross between the Burgundy and the darker purple ones, 
as you can see the bottom leaves are a redder purple than the reg purple and the upper petals are a purpley burgundy. The flowers are much prettier in person and the colors are easier to see but this pic woll have to suffice.
On to the Knitting we will go… I have switched Jacob’s second sock to Magic Loop and it is coming along quickly, I will be switching it back to DPNs when its time for the toe as I havent learned ML that far yet 
I have also got the first skein of Caron Felting yarn balled and ready to go for the first pair of felted slippers I plan on starting them this evening so I can work on them and Jacob’s socks at the same time. The felted slippers are Fuzzy Feet from Knitty.com and will be my May KAL sock for the 2008 Sock KAL group on Ravelry. Tomorrow I will post pics of Jacobs sock and the Fuzzy Foot thas has been started. I will be home this weekend so plan to work on my garden, and the socks as much as I can. Oh Before I dont think about or forget to mention it, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the mothers who read here, May your day be happy and bright!
