It’s Raining and Storming

 Heres the Yellow Iris I had planned on showing yesterday in a different pose. The one I was gonna post was from the top and was out of focus. I also have some pics of the Rain today…

 Purple and Burgundy Large Irises. The one on the left looks like dark purple here but in reality it is a rich burgundy color.  Here are the Blues, they are smaller than the others but are far more numerous with multiple blooms on each stalk.  These yellow Irises are older than Brian can remember even bein planted. They too are smaller than the Purple ones but like the Blues they are numerous. I like taking pictures of my flowers in the rain, if you look the rain drops show up so well and add a sparkly tone to the pictures. Enough about the Flowers onward to knitting

The Sock KAL that I am a member of  on Ravelry has any Knitty.com sock pattern down as the May pattern. So, for my dear family members who have been waiting 5 months (since Christmas) for their Fuzzy Feet slippers I will be working on them this month. I dont have any pictures yet even of the yarn, those will be coming as soon as I get them out of their drawer  Since today is a stormy one I am working on the BBS and hope to finish the second one today and have em washed and shipped by Friday!!!!! I know, I’ve stated the idea of when I’ll be finished a couple of different times but, if you look at the pics from yesterday you’ll see just how close (minus the 2in I did yesterday ) I am to being finished, not that it is any real indication as to how fast I’ll be able to finish the second sock LOL!! 

I have been watching Star Trek this week, Enterprise on Mon, yesterday I watched TNG and Star Trek The Motion Picture. Today is more TNG and We will prob watch StarTrek 2 the Wrath of Kahn. If there are any Trekkers/Trekkies that read my blog check out cbs.com you can watch all of the Original Series Episodes there, unless of course you have them on DVD or VHS then you can watch them that way too I enjoy watching all the old episodes, unfortunately we dont have any of the DS9 series. If you have Directv Spike has Voyager M-F at 3 and 4 cst and SCI FI has Enterprise Mon nites from 6-10 cst enjoy! What does TNG and the Movies have to do with knitting? Nothing, tho it does give me ideas for designs on my socks, for me it makes for good knitting time.

Thats all for today, I will try to have pics of atleast the yarn for the Fuzzy Feet slippers tomorrow maybe I’ll even cast a pair on. See ya tomorrow and I sure hope my ramblings arent to boring LOL!
