Weekend Full of Nothing to do :-)

I got quite  bit of work done on my BBS this weekend and am ready to start the toe on the first sock. Will have a picture as soon as it is done, hopefully tonite during Enterprise!

We didnt do much this weekend; Friday my mom and I went to KnitWicks in Rogers to check on her Baby Alpaca order and I picked up some wool to dye and some Merino Cashmere blend yarn that I will probably use for a Shawl. Today I decide to try using some spent Iris blossoms to dye the wool, and if todays experiment is any indication I got alot of work ahead of me Lets just say that so far using Iris petals to dye wool hasnt exactly worked out like I had hoped LOL!!

In other news… My Mom and Grandma came up for lunch and to visit so I showed her the Cables and Lace swatch in DiC Giant Peach. She loved it, so we looked on TLE so I could show her the other colors  available and she chose the color she wants and as soon as my rebate comes in and the yarn gets restocked I’ll be ordering it and getting her Cardi started. Well thats about it  I’ll be back tomorrow with a sock update and anything else I can think of.
